The suggestion widget asks for a store name, a lane, a category, why you think it belongs in the guide, and optionally your name and email address. Everything except the store details is optional. Please do not send sensitive personal information through the form.

Submissions are stored in our project database and emailed to the project team so someone can walk to the store and check it. A copy may also be recorded in a Google Form response sheet used by the team. If you message us on WhatsApp or by phone, that conversation sits with the messaging provider and with us. Usually replies within 1 to 2 working days.

Analytics is currently limited to aggregate visit counts from our hosting provider. If we add Google Analytics later, this page will say so, and it will be configured to record usage patterns rather than personal identity.

The site itself does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your language choice and any stores you heart are kept in your own browser storage on your device. Analytics, where enabled, may set its own cookies.

We rely on a small number of services to run the site: our hosting and database provider, an email delivery service for team notifications, Google Forms for team records, Google Maps for directions, and Google Fonts for typefaces. Each handles data under its own policy.

Store suggestions are kept for as long as the guide is maintained, because they form part of the record of how an entry came to be walked. Contact details attached to a suggestion are removed on request.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Business owners can also ask us to correct or remove their store entry. Message +91 73049 77455 or use the suggestion widget and say what you would like changed.
